Two young lives gone due to sheer negligence of the Development Authorities Two young lives gone due to sheer negligence of the Development Authorities

Victims - Tejas Sharma (24) from Jaipur, who had moved to Pune a few months ago to work from home for a Mumbai based IT firm & Devashish Saxena (26) from Bhopal, working with an IT firm in Hinjewadi, were on their way back to their flat after dinner with some friends when they met with the accident around 12:30 am on 8th November. Their bike fell into a cable duct dug up as part of the ongoing work for a pedestrian path under the Pune Smart City Project. The Pune Smart City Development Corporation Limited and its contractor hired for the work had not taken the adequate safety measures like installing safety barricades and sign boards around the dug up area. According to the statement of a nearby scrap shop worker, "The officials barricaded the road & also put the plastic strips joining the barricades on Sunday morning after the accident. There was no barricades till saturday."
What action can be we take against the people who are involved in the negligence of the development work in order to provide justice to our loved ones who lost their lives? Their life was snapped away from them due to someone else's fault.

A.Hi,
A case can be instituted against the authorities claiming compensation as well as punishment, showing that there was some safety-related defect with the planning/execution of the road's construction which resulted in the accident.

A.Hi,
You should file a complaint against the agency, predicting a reasonable notice of a problem with the road, and that they had a reasonable opportunity to fix the situation (or issue adequate warnings), but failed to take the proper steps, and the crash resulted.
