Rent deducted for notice after rent agreement was expired, is it allowed?

Can owner is allowed to deduct Advance notice period rent amount even after once the rent agreement is expired. As a tenant we have vacated property one month after the rent agreement was expired and paid the rent for during the said period. but still owner has deducted our extra two month of rent suggesting of notice period amount. Kindly advise on this.

A.Hello. If there was any condition relating to deducting advance notice rent then it's fine. But if not, then you can always file a suit for recovery of money.
