Hello everyone , am aspiring law student , the case is : one of my friend lost his father in 2015 and it was a unnatural suspicious death and police also covered it we guess , in 2015 my friend is minor and doesn't have that knowledge to dig that details dont knw what to do but He wants to know really what happened to his father and will it be possible to dig the case now or to reinvestigate? and police only gave the postmortem details thats al we dont have any other details . pls help us with your legal opinions thankyou in advance

the facts are not clear.

A.to open a file, mere suspicion or 'want to know' is not enough.
and what was mentioned in postmortem.
if body is burned then re-postmortem is not possible.
