I am a landlord Can a tenant escape from not paying arrear due to 9 lakhs rupees? If I file a case against a tenant not paying the rent where I have the proof of agreement, audio, and videos clipping of them. If the tenant is not obeying the court rules then the tenant can be arrested and put fine on them to repay the arrear due. Explain in brief.

A.Hi,
You can first send a legal notice. If the tenant still defaults, you can file for payment of the defaulted rent and further eviction.
