Rent receipt to tenant

I am a landlord I have rented a house and shop I have to give a rent receipt for cash payment I have to stick any stamp on the rent receipt and sign above the stamp or both landlord and tenant sign is enough. On the left side of the receipt, the tenant should sign and the right side of the receipt landlord should sign the right side of the receipt should be given to the tenant.
