Money borrowed case Money borrowed case

Hi,
One of friends recently asked me send him some money as he said it's urgent. He borrowed around 11k from me. I sent the money via gpay. He promised to return back the money the next day. But now it's been more than week and whenever I ask he gives so many excuses. I have the screenshots of the instagram chat where he asked for money and the gpay transaction details. Can I file a complaint against him and get my money back? I know it's not that big a sum, but I just recently got a job and I'm the sole earning member of family. What should I do to get my money back?

A.Hi,
Yes you can file a suit against him, but, you first need to send him a legal notice.

A.Hi,
You can send him a legal notice and then you can institute a suit against him, if the amount is still not paid.
