according to the Tamil Nadu Regulation of Rights and Responsibilities of Landlords and Tenants Act, 2017.
max time to give the judgment .Is it true that it will take only 90 days to solve the problem by rent authority and if tenant didnt clear the dues and vacate the house after judgement what punishment will get to tenant.

A.Hi,
The time frame is provided under Sec. 34(6) of the Act, the applications have to be decided within ninety days. Not more than three adjournments are to be allowed to any party, so the applications are to be summarily decided. In case of non compliance, you have a right to file an execution petition.

A.Hi,
For dues you have to file an execution petition to arrest him or attach his movable and immovable properties and to sell to realise your dues with the court order. However, under Sec. 34(6) of the Act, the applications have to be decided within ninety days.

A.Time limit is only in paper and not practical.
