I want to Know whether I can file for domestic violence case after my husband sends divorce notice first?

A.Madam,

You can file domestic violence case against your husband any time. There is no need to wait till your husband sends divorce notice from the court first to file domestic violence case against your husband. If the domestic violence is happening and continuing, you can immediately report the matter to your area's protection officer who will after inquiry, prepare and forward a Domestic Incident Report to the concerned magistrate court under whose jurisdiction domestic violence is taking/took place. Thereafter, engage an advocate and file petitions in the court for protection order and residential order against your husband.

A.Yes you can file domestic violence case against your husband by mentioning recent torture and cruelty given by your husband along with previous torture

A.Yes you can file it.There is no legal bar against filling domestic violence case after filling of divorce petition by the husband.
