Gratuity payment

I am going to resign from IDBI Bank Ltd. On completion of 4 years 7 months. Being a banking industry, it practices both 5 and 6 working days culture. Will I be eligible for gratuity on resignation?

As per the Indian law, you are entitled to receive such gratuity.
According to Section 4 (1) of the Act, gratuity is payable to an employee on the termination of his employment after he has rendered continuous service for not less than five (5) years on his superannuation or on his retirement or resignation or on his death or disablement due to accident or disease.

Therefore, yes you have a right to receive gratuity.
