I have got married on June 2017.from 3rd day of marriage life my in-laws started harassment for dowry.my husband also started harassment.after 10 days of physical & mental harassment.i went to my home.from that day he didn't called r met me.my parents and elders asked them to come to discuss about this but they didn't came.after 7 months i filed dowry harassment & atrocity case against my in-laws & husband.but it doesn't effected them.1 yr completed I was in my home.finaly I decided to take mutual divorce.i called him but my husband told that he won't give mutual divorce & he told me "you apply for divorce from your side then after I will give"I didn't understand y he is saying like that is there any advantage for him by not giving mutual divorce.now he started friendship with other lady.i didnt have any proofs about this.he is really torturing me by not giving divorce.pls suggest me good legal advice I'm from poor family.

A.Register an FIR against your in laws for the same. Also there is Domestic Violence protection officer present in every district. Visit and narrate such incident to that concerned officer.

A.First of all get the FIR registered against the greedy in-laws for dowry and hire a good lawyer to help you to proceed with your case

if he is saying that he would no come o the mutual divorce than only thing that appears is that he would show for his next wife that he was as good that he did not want to give divorce for his first wife and it was his first wife/your fault that you applied for divorce.
other than this i dont think that there is any reason behind this.
further if you apply for divorce and he agrees for that in court than also court would ask you both to file divorce by mutual consent.

A.You can also get an advocate at government expense from district legal services authority if you can't really afford an advocate. Generally office of district legal services authority is situated in the district court premesis itself and a judicial officer is the Secretary .u can also check website of concerned district court for further information about district legal services authority.

A.File a domestic violence case also claiming damages from your husband and in laws.also ask for maintenance in domestic violence case.
