While trying to inform relatives about domestic violence and sexual abuse from family members they forcefully took me to a psychiatrist and gave fake complaints about me. Doctor without hearing my side or even without any tests or examination, forcefully started treatment and stood with my family. I tried to convince my side but she forced me to obey parents. And finally gave a report that I have psychosis. Doctor also threatened me to not to go to the police. Now parents threaten me that they will abuse me more and ruin my life and that they will use the doctors report to save themselves.
Doctor is an HOD of Psychiatry of a private medical college. I would like to know if she has any legal authority to certify mental health? I would also like to know who has the legal authority?
To escape from family what should I do legally?

Private doctors cannot declare somebody mental especially for judicial purposes. Government doctors only have the authority to do this. You should visit a government doctors and get a medical fitness certificate from him and also lodge a complaint with local police station and keep the documents safe with a confidant. Also, since you are a major you can immediately move out of the house and sue your family under Domestic Violence Act.

You may take Medical Fitness certificate from another Psychiatrist and lodge complaint with police commissioner and MCI against that Psychiatrist.

You can do 1 thing, go to any government medical college and get tests done.
Once you get report that you dont have any mental problem or disorder then save its copies with friend first.
Thereafter walk in/call 100 to police station and report the incident.
The private medical college doctor will be taken to task.
also report to medical association abt private medical college doctor.
If you are 18+ and earning or can earn then better move from house.
If less than 18 then only option is police and child protection.
