There are two portions in the building one portion used by landlord and other we rented so we both have same electricity metre bill.and landlord has his own portion electricity metre but bill only generates on whole building electricity metre so we pay there electricity bill and deduct from rent by seeing the reading from there own metre.
recently I found out that the landlord metre is fraud it is connected to only one room of there portion.we paid there electricity bill for 5 years now.when we ask the same she abused us and said she won't pay single penny.
Kindly suggest me how to proceed. should I file a case along with fir complaint?. I just want her punish for what she deserve so that she won't do with others again.
how to get my money back ? I have the proofs of the fraud. I really want her to see in jail. please help me
thanks

A.First prepare a statement of electricity units consumed by landlord & yourself as per the basis of Electricity Distribution Company s ready reckoner based on estimated units on each point and workout the estimated amount claim. If refused to pay excess amount collected from you, complain before the electricity company with details. You can also lodge a complaint in the local police jurisdiction & further take legal action. better to consult a professional property lawyer for safeguarding your interest on all aspects of the issue quickly.

sir recently I forced landlord to keep separate metre and bill for there own portion . its been 4 months now . the bills for their portion are around 600 rupees every month sir and they paid us 200 Rs instead for 5 years sir. I have landlord mails and the previous electricity bills. Is this proof enough for the complaint ?.
