I have done a deal of Heavy Deposit and given 5 lacs, advance. I cancelled the deal as owner was not gig ng possession on this me. Is there any cancellation done on my advance

A.Hi,
You can approach the state real estate regulatory authority to highlight your grievances if the agreement is registered, which gives the owner the right to forfeit the money. If the agreement between you and the owner has not been registered then the owner is liable to return you the entire money.

If the agreement between you and the owner has not been registered then the owner is liable to return you the entire money. If it is registered, then he has a right to forfeit the money, but you can still approach the state real estate regulatory authority to highlight your grievances.
