Planed to take the 4th floor (total 4 floors only 4 x 2 flats = 8 flats) West face flat in Konthamoor, Rajhmundry Andhrapradesh 533101 which is under mortagage (told by builder and told it be cleared by next 1 Month max from GUDA)...shall I or not...what i have to check and ask before payment ...token advance 15K given.Total cost 22.5L

A.Hi,
It's a good idea to make sure that the property you acquire is free of all legal encumbrances before it's turned over to you, so that you don't have any problems afterwards. Please double-check that the property has no outstanding legal issues or is not encumbered by a mortgage. It's best to hold off for a while.

A.Hi,
It is advisable to ensure that the property that you buy is free from all legal encumbrances before it is handed over to you so that there is no problem in the furture. Kindly ensure that the property has no pending legal disputes or is not under mortgage. It is advisable to wait for some time.

A.Dear Sir,
You have to get NOC from the concerned Bank and also check encumbrance register of the Sub-Registrar office in respect of clearance of such mortgage if builder is not genuine then he may not clear mortgage amount.
