A.Hi,
It will amount to child marriage and it is a punishable offense. The Prohibition of Child Marriage Act of 2006 prohibits the solemnization of marriage of a boy who is less than 21 years of age and a girl who is less than 18 years of age.

A.Hi,
Please contact a lawyer and brief your issue. Legally speaking, a marriage in which a girl is below 18 years of age will amount to child marriage and it is a punishable offense.

A.You have not specified the age the boy. Please take note that as per THE PROHIBITION OF CHILD MARRIAGE ACT, 2006,whoever performs, conducts, directs or abets any child marriage shall be punishable with rigorous imprisonment which may extend to two years and shall be liable to fine which may extend to one lakh rupees unless he proves that he had reasons to believe that the marriage was not a child marriage.
“Child” means a person who, if a male, has not completed twenty-one years of age, and if a female, has not completed eighteen years of age;
