My brother who lives in singapore is now divorced in 2018 but in 2014 his wife filed an FIR against my brother and my parents in LUCKNOW and chargesheet was submitted against my parents(not my brother) and so cause notice was imposed on their passport so that they cannot go to meet my brother. Now my brother is divorced in singapore and he has given one time alimony to his wife.What can we do to free up passports.

A.Dear Sir,
You may approach High Court for quashing such FIR against parents as matrimonial dispute ended in full as her husband paid agreed alimony as such the wife is supposed to withdraw her complaint otherwise High Court has ample powers to quash such FIR.

I could have explained more if background is known to me.
