My father want to have divorce with my mother, and i live with my mother. My father had sent us a Summon of court due to which we had to go to te court to fight for the Alimony. So our case is in the court but recently the lawyer has told to get a new lawyer, he will no more fight our case. He ensured us that we have to submit a Order in the court after which my father would have to give us 15k per month to us regularly. He frequently abstain from answering our queries so we dont know where the case is going??? Please guide me with little advice so that i can bestow my faith in Lawyers again.

A.As per your query you have right to change your lawyer. If you didn't have faith on your present lawyer then you can proceed with new lawyer.better way to contact with vidhikarya lawyer for further process.

A.Normally this things seldom happens where a lawyer withdraws from the case for reasons best known to him/her. You being a client have a right to change your lawyer if you have lost faith in him/her. If you unable to pay lawyer's fees, then you might prefer to approach Free Legal Aid Service, to fight your case free of cost. Believe me these lawyers are as good as others and work on pro bono basis.

As far as your case is concerned I am not able to make out which order you're referring to which needs to be submitted in the court. Proper vetting of the case record needs to be done, before giving any legal advice. Legal positions cannot be answered without complete facts, as the answer will differ from one facts to other facts.

A.Unfortunately such colleagues damage the reputation of other advocates also.All fingers of our hands are not of same size and so are all advocate are not of same character and nature.Rest assured. Seek service of advocate from vidhikarya and you will feel the difference. If your father has filed divorce in another town located in other State, you an seek transfer of the same to your city by filling a transfer petition in Supreme court through me and approach vidhikarya to seek my professional services.

Yes, i agree that all people are not same. Sir what is your consultation fee? Bcoz i can only seek your service if its afforadable for me. The lawyer left the case by saying that court( Alipore distt, Kolkata ) has dismissed our case and because none came from my fathers side for proceedings 3 times. So the lawyer has said to file a separate case under 498A through another lawyer.

A.If your lawyer is not interested in pursuing your case you may change your lawyer .

Sir i think to seek your advice on this? I need to talk telephonically to express the situation i am in? Rest the crux of the matter is that my father had tortured my mother physically and mentally for few years after her marriage, so for her safety and me she left him. The best and Worst thing about traditional indian wives is that whatever may happen they cannot divoce their husbands and take him to police station for her own values. But after 18-19 years he has snet divorce summon from court so my mother chose to fight for alimony for my education, and her health.
