Dealing with abusive parents
I am 22 year old.. I am being locked inside the house whenever my parents go out, constantly monitored inside the house. I have been saving money to live on my own. I am working from home secretly without their knowledge.
I have been struggling with their mental torture, verbal abuse every single day and physical restriction from going out. In the past when I happened to tell them about the job offer I got which is outside of Hyderabad, they were verbally abusive constantly till i rejected the offer. There were past incidents which were horrifying to a point where I have trouble sleeping at night times.
Once I was dragged to an unknown village overnight in the name of a relative's death. and was isolated for five days by giving some withcrafted medicines. I was 18 year at the time when this incident happened in my life. It is against my will, I was fed some witchcrafted medicines/herbs. Now i am 22 years old being locked inside the house, verbally abused every single day and no happiness at all. There is not a single day where I smile. It is very traumatizing for me.
I want to live my life. I might be complaining about my parents but I am living a very unhappy life with trauma. The reason I am very much scared is that My parents know a person who does settlements and has some connections with local congress party members. Once I leave the house, they will file false complaints on me.
I want to give a written statement that I am not kidnapped or running away or eloping but leaving the house to live on my own. I want a lawyer's assistance while I do this in a PS. Because my parents know someone from the congress party, I am willing to pay a fee to a lawyer to assist me to give that written statement. I do not want to file any complaints on my parents and run around court. I just want to have my human rights and live with a smile.

Alternatively, you can file legal suit for domestic abuse and violence against your parents, and can file maintenance under section 125 of CrPC
