Medical bills during divorce proceedings
Hi, I have recently filed divorce petition against my wife on the grounds of cruelity as she deserted me 1.5 years ago. Now my wife has sent me an email asking me to pay her 1.5 lacs for her surgery for which she has not given any details. My question is : do I have to legally pay her these medical bills ? If I don't pay, would it affect my case ? Thanks

A.Don't pay anything to her until there's a court order. Let her file application before the court and you vehemently oppose her applications by filing objections. Let court decide the outcome,.

A.Dear Sir,
You need not to pay anything her. Let her file application before the court and you can file objections. Court will decide it negatively against her.

A.You need not pay when the petition is before the court. The petition is for desertion & cruelty, during the course of the proceeding such a claim is made you can contest through your lawyer,it is for the court to pass the order.there is no question of effecting the ongoing case.
