can a cut audio recording be presented as evidence?

i have a recording of 10 minutes out of which only the starting 5 mins of the recording is what i want to provide as evidence,rest is irrelevant talk. can it be accepted by court if the cut audio is provided as record.

Yes you can use that recording as an evidence but you need to make sure whether that other part is irrelevant in the view of other party as well. Because if you will provide the recording which support your contention and the other party shows full recording and the other half shown by them discard your contention then the proof will not do any benefit to you.
