Doctor denying for invoice and prescription

My wife had taken a laser treatment from a Dentist claiming to have a Skin Diploma also, but now after 6 months, when we complained about not much results as assured, we said we want to change the doctor, so please provide us the prescription of the treatment done and receipt/invoice for the payments taken. They are bluntly denying to provide such details even on whatsapp and after lodging the complaint with police.
Do we have any rights in this case?

How did you make the payment to the doctor? If you have done through banking mode then you have the proof to show that you have taken his services and you can proceed ahead with a consumer case against him. If you have paid in case then will be difficult to prove a case against him.
