Land Owneship Transfer - my grandfather bought land Land Owneship Transfer - my grandfather bought land

Hi, my grandfather bought land from a Person ( party A) without the consent of their family members, Party A simply signed a Aggrement saying it's been sold to us and we settled the amount, but didn't transfer the ownership, the land is still in their name, we have been living in the land for 20 years, can we register the land in our name without the consent of Party A's family Members.

Thank you

A.Dear Sir,

Your grandfather if alive may file suit for declaration otherwise his legal heirs may file declaration suit on the basis of adverse possession. Thus you can resolve your issue.

A.Dear Client,

As per the facts mentioned, as you guys are living there for 20 years then there shouldn't be any problem in getting the name changed if you have all the documents required.

A.Dear Client

As per the facts which have been provided, if you have paid the amount for buying the land from Party A and that person to whom the payment is made is the only owner of that land then you need to proof in the court with required documents that you have bought the land from Part A by paying the consideration amount.

Hope this clarifies your query and requirement.

Thank you.
