Criminal defamation - A fraud has taken place Criminal defamation - A fraud has taken place

A fraud has taken place in selection of builder developer for redevelopment of the building of my co op housing society. My grievances before Dy Registrar of co op societies have been accepted. Some members of my society joined me in a WhatsApp group meant to discuss redevelopment. I expose the builder developer by providing facts & proof. Some members supporting builder developer act to tarnish my reputation, writing posts raising 22 - 23 yrs old transfer premium payments insinuating that I pocketed transfer premium; I was a trouble maker in my previous Society which I left in 1991 & my previous Society distributed sweets when I left it. I have no business means I have no professional activities whereas I am in good business & reasonably earn well. All things are absolute lies because I am absolute honest, meticulous in working of my Society & attempting to prevent fraud. Should I file civil or criminal defamation or both?

Can I send them a notice or file pvt complaint asking them to pay my lawyers fee & a fixed amt in PMCares within a week to not file criminal defamation case against them. If 2 people of 3 donate in pm cares, can I file case against remaining person?

How is defamation amt valued?

What is the Court fee for Civil defamation?

Are my grievances covered under cyber crime too?
