Package and Movers Fraud - consignment

I had a consignment from Bengaluru to Durg.
The consignment got damaged.
The opposite party told me about the insurance attached to the consignment , but I did not got any resolution for this.
I have the online payment I made and WhatsApp chat as proof.
Can I proceed to Consumer forum ??
A.You can definitely move to the consumer forum with all the proofs that you have, you will get the refund as well as a fee for delay on behalf of the other party
