Damage to my property/ House due to construction in adjacent building Damage to my property/ House due to construction in adjacent building

Where I reside, nearby there is a construction going on for commercial building. There is frequent movement of heavy trucks/ Dumper trucks for material movement. They carelessly hit my house wall on numerous occasion causing damage to the integrity of the wall/ structure. Seek legal advice as Police are unwilling to intervene and the site engineer/ contractor are negligent towards this. I am planning to take a legal guidance. My house is not on the main road, it is on the second junction/ turn from the main road. Thanks.

It is a set law that if someone is harming or damaging your property then that someone is legally liable to ensure that the damage is repaired or else pay the compensation for the same. You should send a legal notice to the builder of that commercial building and seek your compensation.
