Father’s brother not giving back property papers Father’s brother not giving back property papers

After my grandfather died, my grandmother years later bought a Land, on that, a building was built which had 3 flats and they were registered in the name of her 3 sons - my father, my two uncles (younger than my father) and property papers were with my uncles..
My father died later, and the property papers are still with my uncle.. and they do not give it back now.. not even to my mother…
How can I get a copy of those papers fast and legally??

A.Dear Client
You can send them a legal notice to obtain the property papers or request the sub registrar to issue a duplicate/certified paper. Depending on your need you can also lodge police complaint.

A.Dear Client,
You can consult a lawyer and send a notice to you uncles to handover the original property papers.
Or You can file an application with the following documents to the property registrar to obtain duplicate copies of the sale deed. The prescribed fee for obtaining a duplicate will have to be deposited in the registrar’s office.
1.Copy of FIR that you lost you property paper.
2.Copy of newspaper notice which asks whether anyone has your papers.
3.Copy of share certificates issued
4.Notarised undertaking

Thank you so much, I hope this answer helped you.
