Property Dispute - title suit case
Bought 1/3 land from a seller. Seller's brother did the title suit case saying that land distribution has not done among brother and sister (seller is having 2 brother and 1 sisters (all are married and have children)). Seller's sister passed away. Seller's brother is not allowing me to don't any constructions. Seller's brother wants to buy that 1/3 land.
A.Dear client,
You should have verified the documents of your sale deed before you purchased it (checking the partitions and everything). Even if the sister is dead, her legal heirs can claim for the land, and thus the land should be divided into 4 parts. The seller's brother cannot just buy it or force you to sell it to him. He might come up with a civil suit claiming the title and stay order for your construction. So please contact an experienced lawyer and ask him and provide him all the documents and mutation documents you have. Maybe with that, they will be able to help you.
