Name and dob both wrong in dob certificate
Sir my dob and name both are incorrect in dob certificate. As my name is Arun kumar and dob is 17.01.1994 but it mentioned as Tarun kumar and 17.02.1994 in certificate. What is the procedure for correction.

Date of birth can not be changed once registered , if the date is written wrongly in the certificate by oversight (if the date is correct in reporting form / register) it can be changed by seeing the original record , kindly contact the issuing authority for any corrections.

What is the reason that you are coming to solve this problem after 28 years from the issuance of the birth certificate? Whatever be the process the authorities as well as the court (if you knock its door) will ask you the same question. You should have got the correction done immediately when you received it.
Anyways, visit the issuance authorities and seek their guidance on requirement of documents to get this corrected. They may ask you to bring an affidavit for the same.

No your share can not be revoked.It would be better that you can challenge this issue in the civil court
