What evidence is admissible in court
Can call recordings and WhatsApp chat screen shots be shown as evidence in court? Are call recordings, WhatsApp messages or social media messages valid in court on the basis of evidence or proof?
A.Hi client,
Yes, the above mentioned things are considered as the secondary evidences. There are many cases where the said documents are being used as evidences. However the device from where these evidences are generated should not be tempered and at times certification of such devices are required.
The burden of proof for opposing such evidences lies within the other side.
Thanks and Regards
