Waiver of interest on maintenance charges of flat Waiver of interest on maintenance charges of flat

What waiver of interest (currently charged @ 21percent) can i get from deputy registrars office when husband has died leaving huge maintenance outstanding on flat. I am legal heir but not member of society. Financial condition is terrible. And I was living in the house under court protection. Also no third party interest creation order was there from court.

A.Dear Sir,
Interest at the rate of 21% is at higher side. You may stop to pay arrears of maintenance unless the rate of interest charged is lowered. They are suppose to go to Civil Court to recover outstanding maintenance. They cannot stop you from enjoying the property with basic necessities.
