I have lost my mother when I was 7 year old. My father married again to my aunt. My father has two children from my aunt. We started a home industry and did different types of business. My father was working in a semi government undertaking. My brother and sister ( from my step mother) were not born then. I was helping my parents in domestic business as well as studying. We generated some income from business and purchased a piece of land. Then out of profit generated, we constructed a small house also. I have to repeat that my brother and sister ( from step mother) were not born then. I had taken all pain in additional income generation and construction of house. After I joined in service after completing my studies, I had also paid a large sum of money in additional construction. My father had purchased the land in my step mother’s name on which the building is constructed. After few years, my brother ( step mother’s son) entered into service after his studies. In recent past, my parents in order to avail a house repair loan by my brother told me to give a no objection as the bank was not giving loan on property owned by my step mother. I had agreed and given no objection for loan. Now, my parents are not in favour of giving me the share of the property even though I had given my time, energy and huge sum of money ( for which I do not hold any record) for construction of house. Do I have right to claim any share of the property ?
