Grandfather property Dispute Grandfather property Dispute

Property is registered on Grandfathers name.
My father died few months ago.
My father was older brother amongst all.
As a son this property should be transferred on my name.
But my uncle is saying he is going to transfer it on his name and then he will give me respective share.
Is it correct.
What to do if I want to make that property on my name?

A.Hello Sir,
The shares of the grandfather is the coparcenery property which will be equally divided between his children. As your father is not alive then jiss shares will be transferred to your mother , you and your siblings being the first class hiers of your father. Your uncle cannot take it. Ask him to divide the shares equally.
