Claim in self-acquired property owned by father and brother
1 year ago
Hi, My father has self-acquired property but he has added my brother as a co-owner but not me. I also contributed financially during the purchase of the property more than my brother. How can I claim my share of the property? In future, in case of no will how much percent of share am I eligible to claim?
A.Dear Client,
Class 1 heirs are eligible to the father's property. However, specifically mentioning your brother as co-owner there is little legal action that can be taken.
