Gender Discrimination in School Gender Discrimination in School

My school do not give permission to grow my hair. I am a student of age 16. They give stupid reasons like following school rules will help you, etc. Girls can have hair of any length they and boys can't. So much injustice. Where is gender equality now ?? I asked same question, a reputed lawyer sir answered that you don't have any rights in school. That means we are slaves to school. They have more power than me to choose what is right and what is wrong for me ??

A.Dear Client

Schools have the authority to set certain rules and regulations including dress code and hair size but they cannot discriminate against students based on gender or any other protected characteristic.
