Property - grand father property is divided among my mothers 2 brothers Property - grand father property is divided among my mothers 2 brothers

My mother's grand father property is divided among my mother's 2 brothers. They have taken my mother signature during transfer stating will pay you money, it's been 5 years and we didn't receive anything. My mother's parents are not alive. Now my mother's elder brother is ready to share his property with us via gift deed and he is married with 2 kids. Is it better to take it via gift deed ?

Accepting the property through a gift deed depends on your specific needs and circumstances. Before accepting the property, ensure that the gift deed meets your expectations, the property is free from legal disputes or encumbrances, and the tax implications are considered. Please seek an expert legal advice over this matter.
