My grandfather did two marriages and divorced first wife .....he had two sons from ist wife and 2 sons from 2 nd wife ...he is died now .. how ancestral property distributed between four because 2 nd wife is also demanding her share and if she will die who can claim for that...can she has a right to claim for property ???
Even my grand father has self acquired land ....but it was taken by his 2nd wife and 2sons
.... childern from 1st wife didn't get anything from self acquired property ....
Now in ancentral property my step grandmother demanding her share

A.In case of ancestral property, all the surviving legal heirs got the right to claim an equal share in the property. and in case of self-acquired property, if left intestate, all the heirs are entitled to an equal share in the property. In the Law of Inheritance, status and right of claim of Ist wife And 2nd wife in deceased property are equal. So claim of share in the ancestral property of your step-grandmother can not be turned down.
