My CIBIL account is showing 3 vehicle loans which i have never taken, 2 of then are closed and one is showing "suit filed wilful default written off settled". There are some other details showing in my cibil report like, name is misspelled, date of birth is different and one unknown address, 2 phone numbers of the loan accounts. What should i do to correct this information, is their any chance i can file a suit for misuse of identity?
A.You need to contact or write to CIBIL Authority either online or offline explaining the wrong and incorrect data/information that appears in your CIBIL Record seeking corrections in the record post-investigation and verification of your complaint.
