i stayed in an apartment in mumbai for 7 months, the lock-in period of 6 months was completed and the notice period was one month but my landlord asked me to vacate the flat in 15 days and he will refund me the extra rent i paid for those 15 days and some other tenant started staying there from the next day itself, now the landlord is only refunding the deposit amount and denying for the 15 days rent refund, what can i do?

A.Dear Client,
In there is any written rent agreement executed between the landlords and your, go through the terms and conditions that govern all the relationship and activities between you both. If there is no provision alike in the agreement, the landlord has denied the refund taking advantage of the silent provision of the agreement. A verbal commitment cannot be challenged in the absence of written documents.
