A.Dear Client,

If the property left by the deceased owner is his self-acquired property and left intestate. then all the surviving members/legal heirs are eligible for an equal share of the property. So sisters having an equal share in the intestate property of their deceased father can claim their share by filing a suit for partition before the Civil Court. Even in the case of ancestral property, Sisters are eligible for an equal share in the property. Sisters may reach out to an Advocate for guidance and steps. In case you need any assistance to access justice in this regard you may contact our legal team along with relevant papers for taking necessary steps.
