My AC got burned because of neighbour negligence My AC got burned because of neighbour negligence

I am writing to seek your advice regarding a recent fire accident that occurred in my neighbor's house, which has had a significant impact on my flat. My name is Kalyan, and I am in need of guidance on how to handle this situation legally.

The fire accident was caused by a mistake made by a child playing with matches resulting in the complete burning of my AC outdoor unit and damage to my property. Despite reaching out to the responsible party to initiate the claims process for the damages incurred, they have been unresponsive and are seemingly ignoring our requests.

I kindly request your assistance in understanding the appropriate legal steps to take in order to resolve this matter. Your guidance would be greatly appreciated.

A.Dear client,
You can start off by sending a legal notice to your neighbor's alleging nuisance cause by them, if they still don't take any measure to stop the nuisance you can file a criminal complaint under section 268 of IPC or can also file a civil suit asking for injunction against you neighbor's.
