I went to DDA ( INA)for papers for a flat in Dwarka. DDA said they don't have information regarding the cooperative group housing society of the flat. Neither does DDA have any information nor am I able to get papers from the cooperative group housing society. What would be ways to get the papers of the property.

A.Dear client,

If you are facing difficulties obtaining papers for a flat in Dwarka from both the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) and the cooperative group housing society, here are a few steps you can consider:

Visit the Registrar of Cooperative Societies: Contact the Registrar of Cooperative Societies in your area and explain your situation. They may be able to provide guidance on obtaining the necessary papers or assist in verifying the existence and details of the cooperative group housing society associated with the property.

Consult a lawyer: Engage a lawyer who specializes in property law to help you navigate the process of obtaining the necessary papers. They can guide you on the legal steps to take and provide assistance in dealing with any complications that may arise.

Conduct a property title search: Hire a professional title search agency or a property lawyer to conduct a thorough search on the property's title. This search will help identify the rightful owner of the property and uncover any encumbrances or legal issues associated with it.

File a Right to Information (RTI) application: If you have been unable to obtain the necessary papers through regular channels, consider filing an RTI application with the concerned authorities. This application can request specific information about the property, including details about the cooperative group housing society.

Engage a property consultant: Seek the assistance of a reputable property consultant or real estate agent who specializes in the Dwarka area. They may have access to additional resources or contacts that can help you obtain the necessary papers or provide guidance on how to proceed.
