I have develope software that works by integration with other company hardware to produce results how should I proceed for intellectual property rights.

A.Dear client,
If you want to protect the intellectual property of your software, you need to get it patented. In particular, a software invention must be new, useful, and non-obvious. A fourth requirement is that the invention be of a type that is eligible for patent protection.
