My father made a house in Bihar in 1988.We are three brothers.He named his property on elder son as minor.My father died in 1998 .Elder brother after getting job in 1990 settled in Bokaro.I took care of my parents and further made rooms , electricity and other taxes .Will I have any right in this property?

A.Dear client,
If your father has registered a will saying that property should belong to your brother, then you will not have any right on that property.
In case there is no will, then you can claim your right on that property.

A.Dear Client,
In case the property is self-acquired property of your father who passes away leaving the property in the name of the elder son, then until and unless the elder son relinquishes his right on the property through a registered deed of relinquishment, you cannot claim your ownership of the property as a matter of right.

whatever you made and if you can prove that with evidence, documents and witnesses then you can claim part right in the property.
