Grandfather partitioned his self acquired property to his 3 sons in 1963 leaving his 5 daughters, property got registered to his 3 sons and they are enjoying the property. In 2023 the grandchildren from the daughters' side have filed for a property claim, Is this valid ?

A.Dear client,
The rights of grandchildren to claim their grandfather's property depend on the nature of the property.
If the property is self-acquired, the grandchildren have no birthright to it
