Property issue - brought a house recently
7 months ago
I have brought a house recently. The seller mentioned it was under lease agreement when I purchased. I informed the seller to request the lease tenant to vacate the property within one month from the date I signed the sale agreement. He said he will request them. Now property registration has been completed but lease tenant is still staying in the house saying the time period mentioned in the lease agreement is three months notice.
Is there any way to vacate them since I want to move in.
A.Dear
Review the Lease Agreement: Carefully examine the lease agreement to understand the terms and conditions mentioned, particularly those related to the notice period required for the tenant to vacate the property. Ensure that you are aware of the specific legal requirements for ending a lease agreement in your location.
Communicate with the Tenant: Initiate a direct and clear conversation with the tenant. Express your need to move into the property and discuss the possibility of reaching a mutual agreement for an earlier vacation. Try to negotiate and find a resolution that works for both parties.
Seek Legal Assistance: If communication with the tenant does not yield the desired results, consider consulting a real estate lawyer who can guide you on the legal options available. They can help you understand the relevant landlord-tenant laws and assist in the proper legal procedures for eviction, if necessary.
