I informed my broadband service provider that I no longer want to use my broadband connection on 12 December 2023 and I was promised that it shall me cancelled now suddenly after 3 months they are informing me that it was not cancelled and they are demanding for 3 months bill additional for cancellation

A.Dear Client,
Here the mode of communication to the service provider informing the disconnection of service matters the most. if the communication is made in black and white or virtual mode either by email or WhatsApp, then the service provider cannot claim the service charges for the period a consumer/customer did not avail of the service. Serving a legal notice to the service provider, you may bring the matter to the Consumer Affairs Deptt or the District Consumer Protection Council to resolve the issue.

A.Dear Sir,
You just deny to pay such amount let them go to the Court or any other forum and you are not liable to pay the said amount.
