I want to change my signature....may I know the procedure to do so ...
A.Dear Client,
In case to need to change your signature, you need to draft an affidavit indicating the change of signature. Further, the affidavit must contain the specimen copies of your old and new signature and should accordingly be notarized. The copies of this document must be submitted to banks and other institutions to notify them about the change in your signature and request them to update it in all the official records. It must also be rectified in your PAN card, Aadhar card, Passport and School certificates by writing letters to the respective authorities or by updating the changes by visiting the official websites. If required, you can consult an advocate to assist you with the procedure.

Initiate the process by requesting your bankers to update your specimen signature. Once changed, inform all relevant parties about the update and provide them with both old and new specimen signatures for future reference.

First approach your bankers and request them to change the specimen signature called and thus you can sign in your new model and replace the old signatures. You may intimate all the concerned who are dealing with your signatures about your change of signature and a specimen new signature along with old signature may be sent to them for their future reference.
