A.you need not worry. You didn't remain to involve in a physical relationship, and even if you were involved, still no need to worry because adultery is no longer a crime in India.
However, the wife of the man, with whom you are in a relationship, can file divorce against him on the ground of relationship with you and can make you a party in the case.

his wife can't make any criminal complaint against you but can file a divorce petition.

A.No legal action can be taken against you as there has not been any physical relationship between you and him. Moreover, if there would have been any physical relationship between you and him before his marriage then it does not amount to any illegality in the eyes of law.

There is no offence under any law for time being forced to prosecute any woman for chatting with a married man. Don't worry. The police cannot file an FIR on its whims and fancies. They will have to file the FIR under certain relevant sections of Indian Penal Code. Chatting between two individuals does not account for any crime or offence under the Indian Penal Code or any other statute.
