Landlord not returning security deposit Landlord not returning security deposit

I am a female 25 was living in a rented house in gurugram. My owner does not lived in the house he had rented to me, I have not seen my owner ever during my 1 year stay at his house. He used to call me and I used to transfer the rent through netbanking to his account. Initially he said that he will arrange a rent agreement and send to me but he did not sent. I dont have any rent agreement or agreement of living documented. Due to heavy electricity problem and ignorance from landlord I decided to leave the house and intimated my intentions to my landlord via a call and in written via whatsapp well 45 days before. He said he will return my security deposit post inspection of the room. I have left his house its been almost 30 days but he has not returned my security deposit. He said earlier that his salary gets deposited by 10 so he will arrange by then, he took my account details via whatsapp amd assured me to return by coming tuesday. Its been 20 more days post his assurance, now he does not picks up my call neither he replies on whatsapp. I dont have any document or agreement of rent, I have only the rent transfer bank statement and his whatsapp chat as proof of my residence. Can in any manner I can get my deoposit back??

A.Hello,
Yes, of course you can get your deposit back.
First try to amicably settle and ask the deposit once more, and keep record of it.
If still the owner resists, then issue to him a legal notice demanding your deposit.
Hope that helps!
Regards.
