I'm a Hindu married to a Muslim according to Islamic way since 2008. My husband wants divorce but I'm afraid that he will take child custody and won't pay maintenance.Even if I get custody of my kids

A. For maintenance of your child file a petition u/s 125 CrPC or under DV Act. As per the Muslim Law, although mother is not the natural guardian but she has a right to the custody of the child, till the child attains a specific age.

A. your marriage has already been dissolved by a decree of divorce by a competent court of law. If you feel like you can communicate of the same to the marriage officer where your marriage was solemnized. The order of the dissolution of your marriage will be kept on record by the marriage officer.

A. Email your condition to the District and sessions Judge of the concerned court and secondly file an application under section 125 crpc alond with Police complaint. Write a letter in your hand writing and send it to the Principal Judge of the family Court and describe your whole situation.
